Team Catfish Fishing Awards of Excellence
There are 6 levels of awards in the Team Catfish awards program.
The first award is the Great Catfish Award. This FREE award is achieved by submitting a picture of you with a catfish at least 15 inches in length.
The second level is the Big Catfish Award. This FREE award is achieved by submitting a picture of you with a catfish over 25 inches in length.
The third level is the Whopper Catfish Award. This FREE award is achieved by submitting a picture of you with a Channel Catfish over 30 inches in length or Blue or Flathead Catfish over 35 inches in length.
The fourth level is an Expert Catfish Award. This FREE award is achieved by getting the first, second, and third level awards for a “particular type” or species of catfish, such as a channel cat or blue cat. You must get all three awards for that species of catfish before you can get the Expert award!
The fifth level is a Grand Slam Award. This is Team Catfish’s highest FREE award of achievement. It can only be achieved by getting Expert Awards for all three species - Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, and Flathead Catfish. This record will be verified by Team Catfish and you will be required to submit all of your Expert Awards by mail. They will be returned with your prize package and Award Certificate.
The 6th level is a stand alone award. The Monster Catfish Award's requirements are a picture of you submitted with a Channel Catfish over 33 inches in length or a Blue Catfish or Flathead Catfish over 45 inches in length.
The prizes are as follows:
- Great Catfish, Big Catfish, or Whopper Catfish Awards are completely free and get you your choice of an Award Certificate or 6” Team Catfish Decal.
- Expert Catfish Awards are completely free and include a prize package featuring a 6” Decal, Expert Award Certificate, and Team Catfish Hat.
- The Grand Slam Award is completely free and includes a Grand Slam Award Certificate, 6” Team Catfish decal, Team Catfish Fish Grip and Team Catfish Hat.
- The Monster Catfish Award is $9.95 and includes a Team Catfish Hat and either a 6” Decal or Award Certificate.
- All the Great, Big, Whopper and Expert Awards allow the recipients to be archived for one year on the appropriate “Braggin Board.”
- The Monster Catfish and Grand Slam Award winners will be archived forever at Team Catfish under the year they won their award.
