"Abby Kubin caught the Jr. Angler record channel cat and blue cat for Lake Lewisville on a recent outing with her dad and catfish guide Bobby Kubin. The 2.01 lb blue cat and the 1.89 lb channel cat are by no means the largest catfish in the lake nor are they the largest fish she has ever caught. These are though the biggest catfish of either species that she has caught and landed completely by herself on Lake Lewisville. At the young age of only four years old, this is quite an impressive accomplishment. Both fish were caught on Secret 7 dip Bait by Team Catfish fishing shallow water with slip cork rigs. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has an outstanding Jr. Angler Records program that recognizes and awards young anglers for their efforts and accomplishments while fishing."
